Node Mount Type Codes for Import

NetZoom uses a series of codes known as a "Mount Type Code." A mount type code is a code that NetZoom uses to let the application know how the Device is mounted in the data center. This differentiates between a Rack that sits on the floor and a Server that lives in a RU of a Rack. Mount Type codes are categorized and listed in this section.

The following columns have been changed since NetZoomDC. NetZoomDC customers should be aware of this change:

Old Name	New Name
DeviceLabel	Name
NodeType	MountType

 

NoteS:

• Blank rows are not allowed in import sheet!
• Spaces are not allowed in Column Headings!
• Format the entire sheet as Text.
• Do not provide a “Position” value for “FL” or “FLB” codes [Blank value recommended].
